For a mentee our platform provides both a great opportunity to learn from the experiences of a mentor outside their own organization, and a wonderful opportunity to broaden their professional network.
For the mentor our platform offers the opportunity to stay connected to the younger generation and to give back to the community.
Possible topics of mentoring could be:
• Fears an and experiences with regard to your LGBTQI+ identity in your work environment,
• Career development and challenges that play a role, whether or not LGBTQI+-related, or
• Other challenges you face as LGBTQI+.
We aim to link a mentee to a mentor working in the same sector, but from another company. E.g. a junior lawyer would be linked to a senior lawyer or law firm partner and a company lawyer would be linked to a more senior legal counsel. However, if you would like to be teamed up otherwise, please let us know.
Montor and mentee determine together the frequency and topics of the mentorship. Contact with a mentor can be one-off or on a more – irregular – basis.
