FORWARD publishes a document with best practices for LGBTQI+ inclusion in the workplace 

From diversity to inclusion. These are two steps that are important for every organization. Diverse teams and an inclusive work environment contribute to the productivity and quality of a team. This makes the business case crystal clear. Every organization should strive not only for an inclusive and diverse work environment because it is 'the right thing to do', but also because it makes the organization stronger and more successful. 

The first step is diversity. Provide a working environment where colleagues with different beliefs, socio-economic backgrounds, sexual orientations, practices, gender identities, etc interact. All these differences greatly contribute to a team's ingenuity and creativity. But diversity alone is not enough. 

The second step is inclusion. All unique employees must be made to feel valued for who they are and be given the space to be themselves. Everyone is different and therefore contributes in a unique way to the strength of a team. By spreading this message as an employer, every employee is given the space to get the best out of himself and employees can achieve a higher degree of productivity.

This best practices document tries to guide organizations that want to develop themselves by means of recommendations and concrete examples.
